Any restaurants open in Pacifica for Thanksgiving dinner?


The following just got posted on TripAdvisor. Does anyone know of a place?


For the first time in 28 years we will not have any children home for Thanksgiving, so my wife agreed to let me book a couple relaxing days in Pacifica. Now I need to find a restaurant to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Best advice? Just skip Pacifica on your way down 1 to the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. Plenty to do and see there for every budget. Can't go that far? Try Half Moon Bay. Some very nice hotels, B&B's and I'm sure the Ritz does a great turkey. Stuck in Pacifica? The HIE at Rockaway is the only decent hotel. Very professional but you MUST leave town to eat well!

    Don't really know of any restaurant in Pacifica that serves a traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey, mashed potatoes and all the fixins'---Maybe call Nicks and see if they do. If not I'm with anonymous and would do the Ritz in HMB or head to San Francisco.

    We stayed at the Best Western Lighthouse hotel in Rockaway beach last year and had a lovely thanksgiving buffet there.

    The restaurant at the Lighthouse is closed for remodeling and will open under a new name.

    The restaurant (previously "Portofino" and previously "Moonraker" before that) will reopen again as "Moonraker" sometime near the end of 2011 under the same management that operates Borolo.

    In my opinion, Borolo is Pacifica's best restaurant (Granucci's is a close second), so I have high hopes for this new incarnation of Moonraker.

    I had dinner at the Sharp Park Golf Course Restaurant tonight, and overheard the chef talking to a customer about reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner. I asked him about it, and was told that he does the full dinner with all the trimmings, and that it's one of his busiest days of the year. So now we know!
