Planning Commission Agenda for September 20

Some may be concerned with the mischief that this council and planning commission can get themselves into unless watched.

  1. Thanks Jim for posting this. I hope to see a good turnout at the study session.

The Planning Commision wants to hear what the public has to say on all Planning-related issues.

  2. Oh my goodness! It's terrible mischief! The Planning Commission wants to discuss and comment upon the Existing Conditions and Key Issues report as part of the General Plan Update. The sky must be falling!

I can honestly say that 40 years ago I got up to a lot of MISCHIEF but none of it had anyting to do with city planning.

  4. As much as I would love to be there to moderate the mischief, I have prior obligations of the kid-kind that cannot be delayed. Tom, make sure you behave. LOL

  6. Yeah, me too. Although, back in the day, I was the instigator for a lot of (clean, good natured) practical jokes.

Heather: Good clean fun was not what I was implying. Ask me about the stripper, the "38" and the off broadway movie offer. I have stories that would make a sailor blush and I should know; I am an old sailor. A full life is not for the faint of heart.

  8. Clean it up. This is a "family" blog.

  9. Tom: let's have a drink after the forum. I *love* a good story. I have a (ahem) past life, too - but its way, way, in the gee-what-a-dumb-teen I was past. Nothing too bad (certainly not a stripper or 38), but enough that people who know me now marvel that I could ever have been that rash.

    Steve- aye, aye Captain.

    Heather: It's a date .

Steve: Would it be more appropriate to talk about the armed 500 Lbs bomb that bounced across the flight deck right next to me, or the 15 nuclear bombs that were brought up on the flight deck when the Peblo was taken by the North Koreans? Life is life and we all are a total of the experiences we have.

  11. As long as you don't swear like a sailor, Tom.

I'll try to come up with some interesting stories about when I was in the Air Force, but my military experience wasn't too eventful. I was at a base with SR-71's and U-2's, though.

  12. *%^**# So there Steve. since I was given a top secret clearance their are a lot of things I am not at liberty to talk about in my military past.
Pacifica on the other hand is fair game.

    Is the memory getting foggy?

  14. Yep, Beale.

Never been in the army, though. Who is it that thinks I said I was in the army?
