Outlet Mall in the Quarry


This is a recently-posted instance of a question I see asked several times a month on TripAdvisor's San Francisco forum.

We are visiting San Fran twice at the end of August - for the second visit we plan a day's shopping, hoping to pick up some designer clothes at much reduced prices to the UK !
Is there a Designer Outlet Village in or just outside San Fran

    I personally feel this is a great idea for the Quarry and the only mall/retail project that could compete sucessfully with Serramonte/Tanforan and bring some sorely needed tax revenue to our city.
